The Solarflare 10GbE PCIE NIC Driver is available on the XStreamOS beta3 repo.
Just built XStreamOS kernel sources and published new packages.
Install the package pkg://sonicle.com/driver/network/sfxge@0.5.11,5.11-1.153.0.0.0
and let us know if it's working!
You can find the kernel source changes at our GitHub kernel fork here:
https://github.com/sonicle/xstreamos-illumos-gate
Taken from Rich Ercolani webrev sources:
http://cr.illumos.org/~webrev/rincebrain/illumos-sfxge/
And...this is our git changeset:
https://github.com/sonicle/xstreamos-illumos-gate/commit/9e2cc6ec5181184af8bcaffb174dec80363406c9
;)
Thanks for your support!
Gabriele.

Thanks that be great
Yes I will test for you if you do
Am happy to let you have access to my setup if you want to check it, so it not a problem
Anyway keep up the good work. I like you have server and desk top version
Thanks

Good, I will definitely look into it together with an update to zone issues.
Did you test your build/compile of the driver enough? Did it work fine?
I don't have such hardware to test at the moment, so what I can do is build it, add it
to the repo and let you test it.
So you mean you have ESXI machines and a storage box behind, connected with the
10gb sfxge? Good! We made tests with another driver (igbx I think...) and it was great!
Gabriele.

RE: [xstreamos-discuss] Sfxge drivers in XStreamOS
HI Gabriele
Yes I did get it to build and compile, but am still working on how to make my own os lol
Using you version on my storage box and it quick and works when the other os had problem on the install
Would like the SFxge driver for the ESXI setup I have and 10gb back bone will help
Still got a long way my self to do something like your?s but getting there lol
If you can add that be great you be the first that I can see to add and I know this will push a few people to us you in datacentre
Thanks
Carl Brunning

Hi Carl,
I've seen your postings at illumos list, and found the webrev for this driver.
Looks like you were able to build it. Did you? Did it work?
If this is the case, I may consider adding it to our XStreamOS illumos fork.
Let me know,
Gabriele.

[xstreamos-discuss] Sfxge drivers in XStreamOS
HI
I know you not got but will you be adding the Sfxge drivers
The is for the solarflare 10gb network cards
I hope you may add it to the XStreamOS this will help me with my setup as I have these cards but no driver in any illumos os
I love you clear and simple version of the os, have to find out how you learn to do this.
Anyway if you can add it be grea,t if not then it not a problem
Thanks
Carl Brunning
