[xstreamos-discuss] Kernel and bash upates, moving to beta3

Hi everybody,
sorry for a long period of apparent silence.
A big update is available:
- kernel update to latest illumos, changes up to end of September 2014
- bash upgrade to 4.2.47 with original Oracle patches, including Shellshock bug patch
- xstreamos-illumos-gate at github committed and pushed to current kernel version.
- release and motd reflects new October 2014 version
Soon working on a new install iso/usb directly at this release level.
