Hi Jason, I've been very busy these last two days.
I will build a new iso in the weekend and send you a link to check it.
Thanks to you!

Hi Paolo / Gabriele,
I really appreciate the assistance given thus far. I am not inclined
or in favour of using up your time any further on this, if using the
latest iso is the best solution. The only reason I would pursue
troubleshooting, is for the fact that it may help others until the
next iso release, or at the very least, if they need to re-install on
other hardware.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
Jason
P.S.: Based on not just the OS, but also on your phenomenal help, I
have been advocating this distribution to everyone I can at the
office. I told them that once I have it setup and can run the
applications I/we care about, I will give them a demo. They have
already been sold on OmniOS (we just set that up on a production
server, with git running in a zone), however for personal use, they
are considering OI. I am hoping to show them this as a viable option,
I know I will be using XStreamOS Desktop as my daily driver once this
issue is resolved.

Hi Paolo,
Thanks for stepping in to assist.
I tried your suggestion, however there seems to be a lot of circular
dependencies with the packages, i.e. one can't be uninstalled without
the other, and the main ones are tied to
pkg://sonicle.com/consolidation/xstream/os
See the attached file "pkg-uninstall" for more details.

Jason

Have you tried to remove these packages :
pkg uninstall pkg://sonicle.com/service/network/dhcp
pkg://sonicle.com/network/dhcp/dhcpmgr
pkg://sonicle.com/install/installadm
pkg://sonicle.com/service/network/smtp/sendmail
pkg://sonicle.com/system/network/mailwrapper
pkg://sonicle.com/network/ftp

I have this list saved in my notes.
I hope this helps.

Let's see if Al or Paolo remember the passages they did :)
If not, I will provide you with a new iso shortly.
